OUR MISSION

Cultivating an environment for Life-Long Learners

At Harbour Community School, we empower students to ask insightful questions, explore disciplinary boundaries and confront conventional ways of thinking. Check out our site to learn more about all that we have to offer.

Education is the science of relationships - meaning that children have a natural, inborn desire for all knowledge, and they have a right to be exposed to it.

             - Charlotte Mason

As a cottage schoolhouse, our program promotes the Charlotte Mason philosophy combined with home education. The Tutor helps guide each student, but the actual learning is the responsibility of the child.

Vision

A relational education for all students and tutors in every setting.

Mission

To promote the principles and practices of Charlotte Mason’s design for education by providing child-centered learning opportunities.
